Hope that BSOD goes away. If not, upload the latest dump file.

I wish I could say yes. Unfortunately, after installing the Clone CD and Vaio updates attached is the latest dump from the BSOD that occured on shutdown.

The latest dump is memory corruption and you have a lot LOT of outdated drivers.

    shpf.sys Fri Aug 22 19:48:03 2008

    SFEP.sys Fri Aug 03 17:35:53 2007 - I still don't know why about this? Thought you updated...
    SaibVdAd64.sys Tue Oct 28 16:56:20 2008
    Sahdad64.sys Tue Oct 28 16:56:11 2008
    Saibad64.sys Tue Oct 28 16:56:15 2008

    mdmxsdk.sys Tue Jun 20 09:27:26 2006
    ElRawDsk.sys Sun Jul 27 05:59:09 2008
    ElbyCDFL.sys Fri Dec 15 10:22:27 2006

I'd wait for a BSOD Expert and decide what to do with these outdated drivers (I'm only amateur with BSOD Analyzing). Some of these might not need update.

By the way, what Clone CD did you just install?

Clone CD 5.3.1.4. A search/properties says it updated to a 2007 version but I see in this dump it says 2006...hmmm. Same for the Vaio file. I downloaded and executed file. It said it updated. Will try both again in safe mode.

I just reinstalled both updates in safe mode and confirmed that the drivers contained in the windows/system32/drivers folder were updated. They were. Thanks for your help.
