BSOD with Internet Explorer

Hello,

I hope you can help me. I apologise in advance for my lack of computer knowledge. My laptop has started crashing to the BSOD (with the label 'Bad_Pool_Caller') when I go on certain websites e.g. eBay.

Windows 7 is x86. It is not the original OS, I upgraded from Vista. I purchased Windows 7 from a retailer. The laptop is approximately 3 years old. The Windows 7 OS was installed approximately 18 months ago. I haven't reinstalled it.

Many thanks in advance. If anyone offers any advice, please dumb it down for me!

Update outdated listed drivers. If I have inadvertently listed any Microsoft Drivers, they can be ignored.

How to Find Drivers
search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone - will help you search Google for the name of the driver

Dont stop at the driver, follow all the insructions or you will be back.
The driver is the primary cause, the other problems are BSODs waiting to happen.
Best of luck to you and Merry Christmas
