Good job, Frank; and you are welcome for the help. The fact that the card reader driver will not update indicates the card reader is obsolete. Your best bet is to uninstall it and upgrade to a new card reader compatible with Win 7. Is your system running in better since renaming those four drivers and updating the nVidia Realtech drivers?

Well it was running pretty good. I let it run all night and it diddnt crash. Then this morning it has crashed twice. Once when it restarted it said something about windows not being able to connect to a verification server and gave me a weird windows 95 looking desktop. I restarted and it was fine, then it crashed again and said C:\windows\system32\config\system\desktop was unavailable and i had a blank desktop. Restarted again and it was back to normal with this error showing up.

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
    Locale ID: 1033

Now every time after it crashes when it restarts it goes to some different form of default desktop, then when i restart it, it will return to my normal desktop, something just does not seem right. Since i only did the upgrade and not a clean install should i perhaps be considering to do a complete clean and reinstall of the operating system?
