    Blue screen, no text?

Dont know what to make of it, doesnt happen very often (about once a week) but when it does, it just hangs there indefinitely. And I have to hard reboot the PC. Nothing in event viewer other than the system was not normally shut down, so didnt look like it collected enough data.

Try to establish a pattern. What programs are open or are you running when this occurs. Look for a common link.

This only happens on bootup. I see the windows 7 logo forming then the blue screen appears.

    And yes, I have a gtx470.

Then it's the known issue Ive encountered myself.. there's lots of people with this on the nvidia forums but yet no fix (mine is sorta fixed because I use SLI now..) it's usually something with the motherboard and the PCI-E slot used
