    Random BSOD Occuring (NIC Related?)

    Hi all,

    First post on this forum...

I have a fairly new M4500 laptop which I got new from Dell.
I've had random BSOD's occuring and I'm almost convinced it is NIC related but I am unsure how to fix it as I don't think there are newer drivers than what Dell and/or Microsoft provide for it.

It usually always happens when the network card is stressed (Running large SQL queries and surfing at the same time for instance).

The "file" in question that is listed in the BSOD is e1k62x64.sys

    Any help on this please?

(PS: I have carried out the bsod reader instructions but there is some information in some of the files I cannot release on here which is why I have not attached it on here)

    Thanks in advance

Also: A full format has been carried out 3 times now and reinstall of non-dell image.
Annoyingly, I can go days without it happening but when it does happen, it's always the e1k62x64.sys that causes it.

Actually, this is the exact issue in my case too:
Win7 keeps crashing with a blue screen

Interestingly, I too have connectify installed but not in-use.
I have uninstalled it before in a previous install when I got bsods with the network driver but it continued.

e1k62x64.sys is your Intel networking driver
Please visit the Intel website and download the latest Windows 7 drivers for your network card.
Or use the update utility Intel® Driver Update Utility
