    Windows 7 BSOD

    Hi Guys

Since earlier this afternoon I am contantly getting BSOD on my Windows 7 machine.

I was in the process of running Symantec Virus Scan.
It found some viruses which i deleted but then crashed.

Since then I login and but after a few moments BSOD.

I have tried removing Symantec but still get the same issue.

I do not get the issue in Safe Mode though.

I have attached the dump files to be checked.

Any help you can provide would be most appreciated!

BSODs caused by iaStor.sys, the driver for Intel Matrix Storage Manager
Update it in safe mode with networking Intel® Driver Update Utility

Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads
You can use MagicDisc as an alternative.

    Code:
    BugCheck D1, {0, 2, 1, 83ad0e83}

Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\iaStor.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for iaStor.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for iaStor.sys
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for sptd.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for sptd.sys
    Probably caused by : iaStor.sys ( iaStor+3de83 )

    Thanks for the feedback.
I am up and running again without the BSODs.

I updated the Iastor.sys driver (but from the toshiba support site as the driver on Intels website is not up to date).

This resolved the BSODs caused by Iastor.sys but I was still getting other BSODs.
They were caused by Symantec EndPoint Protection v11.

Once I unistalled Symantec those stopped occuring too.
Am now running TrendMicro AV without any issues so far.

All the help is much appreciated.
