I have exact the same Crossfire problem. I can't start any game with CF enabled without getting a BSOD...

    Hi Edenian,

i solved this issue simply by flashing a new bios (Powercolor.HD6850.1024.101112.bin downloaded from techPowerUp! :: Video Bios Collection) into powercolr VGA, using ATIWINFLASH (rev.:2.0.1.14).

    bye.

    Thanks for the quick reply!
Can this be a problem that i have 2x6870 instead of your 6850?
And aren't there any risks by doing that?

    Kind regards

I can't help you with 6870, because i have not direct experience; but in my opinion the issue could be the same. Can you report the BSOD you get?

Anyway, before you proceed in flashing bios i suggest to verify the correct driver and AppProfile installation, and to read MB manual instructions about Crossfire.

Flashing the bios with atiwinflash is extremely simple but before you have to read this: Guide to Video BIOS flashing | techPowerUp
Please, make a bios backup copy of both your vga!

    sorry for my bad english,
