Unexpected Shutdown, BSOD, but it's Black not Blue

NT6.zip is not attached.

Still no file attached. Click on the Post Reply Button. Look below the text window and click on Manage Attachments. A window will pop up. Click on Browse and navigate to the zipped file on your computer. Click on your file. Now click on Upload. When the file is uploaded, you will see a message telling you it has been uploaded. You can now close the the popup Window. Finally click the submit button as you do for any post.

You did it! There is no dump file included; but you may not have had a BSOD. YOu can check for dump files by following this tutorial: https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...en-forums.html. Make sure your computer is set for mini dumps as illustrated at the bottom of the first post in the tutorial.

From the files you have uploaded, I can make some recommendations.

1. While you are troubleshooting, I suggest that you completely uninstall Avira antivirus. Avira is known to cause conflicts on some Win 7 systems as do many third party security programs. There are valid reasons for this. It has to do with Win 7's own internal security coding. Further, your version of Avira is obsolete and not designed for win 7. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials in its place. After you know your system is stable; you can try Avira again; but I do not recommend doing so. You can try Avast which generally runs very well with Win 7. But wait until your system is stable to do so.

2. You have a number of out of date drivers loading on your system. Outdated drivers can and do cause conflicts, memory corruption and crashes. Those in red font are quite obsolete. Update these drivers from the links provided. Software and hard ware designed for XP and not updated for Win 7 are not going to run on Win 7 except in the XP mode. Uninstall all XP software and upgrade.

avgio.sys 2/22/2007 - Avira AntiVir. Avira AntiVir Personal - Free Antivirus. This is an XP/Vista driver. Uninstall Avira.

e1e6032.sys 3/24/2009 - Intel PRO/1000 Adapter NDIS 6 deserialized driver, http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx. Update this driver.

ElbyCDFL.sys 12/14/2006 - ElbyCDIO Filter Driver. Cdrtools (Cdrecord) release information. This is an XP driver. Uninstall the Elby software if there is no update for the driver.

IntelS51.sys 5/1/2006 - Intel® 536EP Modem Driver, Intel V.92 Modem. http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx.This is an XP driver. Update this driver.

pcouffin.sys 12/5/2006 - ow level access layer for CD devices (A part of many different CD/DVD burning programs). VSO Download DVD Burning Software, convert AVI to DVD, video converter, DVD copy to DVD slideshow photo

rename to pcouffin.BAK and see what CD/DVD program it breaks. This is an XP driver. See below.

Pcouffin.sys and missing DVD drives!?!?!? You can use VSO Clean to remove the driver.

Unistall Avira and take care of the rest of the drivers above. Reboot and see if this helps your system. Post back and let us know.
