New build - BSOD'ing like crazy!!

    My new parts I have installed: Phenom 965BE, ASRock M3A790GXH/USB3, 2x 2GB DDR3 1600MHz (Running @1333) Corsair XMS3.

I Have no clue why this is happening

Even worse, it's happening on Christmas D:

I've also noticed that my mouse + kb keep on disconnecting and re-connecting (quite quickly though) every minute.

    Specs in 'My sys specs'

    EDIT: Some other info.

I still get BSOD when I go into safe mode.
Much appreciated thanks, and merry Christmas!

This one was caused by your video driver please use these instructions to remove and re-install

When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.

    Merry Christmas to you.

I notice that you have some problem devices, particularly the nVidia card:
Not Available ACPI\PNP0510\2 The drivers for this device are not installed.
Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller PCI\VEN_1033&DEV_0194&SUBSYS_01941849&REV_03\4&2FF22C74&0&0048 The drivers for this device are not installed.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 465 PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_06C4&SUBSYS_040110B0&REV_A3\4&E8F8674&0&0010 This device is not configured correctly.
Not Available ROOT\NET\0000 The drivers for this device are not installed.
Until you get your system stable, I recommend that you uninstall Spybot. Spybot's Tea Timer has causes problems some Win 7 systems. Replace it Malwarebytes (free) and use Malwarebytes as an on demand scanner. Update it before each scan.

There are only two BSOD's included in your upload and they are dated 8/2/2010 and 8/12 /2010. Do you have more recent dumps? These are kind of old to be working with. Read this tutorial for uploading just the dumps: https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...en-forums.html.

I suggest that you uninstall Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% or whatever CD virtualization program you are running. They use a driver, found in your dump, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads. Select uninstall; do NOT select reinstall.

Here is a free alternative CD virtualization program that does not use the sptd.sys driver.
    Freeware MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM(MagicDisc) Overview

I also find some out of date drivers loading on your system. Those in red font are quite obsolete. Update these drivers or uninstall the software/hardware they are associated with.
netr28ux.sys Mon May 25 00:38:17 2009 - Ralink 802.11n Wireless Adapter Driver, (you may have a different manufacturer) Ralink corp..

nvstor.sys 20/05/2009 - nVidia Storage Drivers. Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers.

nvstor64.sys 22/06/2009 - nVidia Storage Driver (nForce chipset driver). Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

SaiBus.sys Fri Jan 18 13:28:24 2008 - Saitek Magic Bus driver. Download drivers and software for Saitek products. Uninstall this software.

SaiK0728.sys Fri Jan 18 13:28:04 2008 - Saitek Hid Driver is from Saitek belonging to Configuration Software. Uninstall this software.

SaiMini.sys Fri Jan 18 13:28:16 2008 - Saitek Magic Mini driver. Download drivers and software for Saitek products. Uninstall the software.
Uninstall Spybot and sptd.sys and take care of the above drivers. Configure your video card properly and reboot. See if your system does better. Post back and let us know.

The date is wrong because when installing the new motherboard, the date changed for some reason.

I re-installed (GPU) drivers, and I've just installed the drivers for the USB controller.

For the Saitek peripheral (Cyborg keyboard V7), it looks like they no longer support it (can't find any newer drivers)?

Anyway, my computer has been on for bout 1.5 hours and I haven't had any BSOD's.

(Lots of brackets, but the're cool, right?)

    Thanks for your help!

You are welcome for the help. And I am glad to hear it is running better. I suggest that you upgrade your keyboard to one that is Win 7 compatible. Make sure you update the wireless adapter driver. Update us in couple of days. If you get another BSOD, upload it.

Unfortunately there are no dumps included in your uploads. Thanks for the perfmon report. Try uploading just the BSOD's following this tutorial: https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...en-forums.html

I see that you have Windows Defender running as well as Avast. This can easily create conflicts. Disable Windows Defender; it does not run well with Win 7 by itself, let alone with another antivirus program. Just so you know, Defender has been superseded by Microsoft Security Essentials. If you are looking for malware protection, download and install Malwarebytes (free) and use it as an on demand scanner. Malwarebytes runs well with Win 7.

See if disabling Defender helps your system's stability.
