    BSOD's

I am barely getting used to hearing users(mostly tweakers) getting plastered by Blue Screen of Death and now this: Black Sceen of Death (also mostly, if not all are tweakers). I have not seen one personally. I presumed it's black (instead of Blue).

What is the diff? Which one is worse?

i had a BSOD 5 times today, it was being caused by FeedReader.

I tryed adding a private torrent RSS from IPTorrent and my system crashed, it was set to load on startup, so i ended up having to disable it in safe mode

I zagged the moment I realized I should have zigged.

Anyway, I have never had to uninstall one system to have it replaced with another. I read lots of probs in Vista Forum with non-OEM vista installation... admittedly done incorrectly, I supposed. I partly blame Vista for those probs, nonetheless. I really think legally bought retail OS should be idiot proof to install.

How is it with non-OEM W7 installation? (Although this may not be a fair question since I am talking to a techie). How about a regular guy installing W7 to replace his three month old Vista Home Premium 64-bit?

Well, here's the thing, I bought this new HP without realizing it does not have Fax capability (which I am not happy with Microsoft about). Thus, I've been seriously considering upgrading. And then I keep hearing all good stuffs about W7. So I figure, if I am upgrading anyway, I might as well skip Ultimate and go str8 to W7, unless it also does not Fax.

About BSOD? Yep and I learned alot. I did not know there are other colors...green, yellow, gray etc.

That brings another issue in my mind. Does MAC have BSOD's?
