    Computer locking up

So almost eevry time I come back to my computer after a longer period of being away it will completely freeze on me. I have not added any hardware or installed software since this began and have been using this computer for a year and a half.
Example would be Im able to use now, and it will run fine all night, but then I go to bed, close all programs and shut the screen off. When I get up in the morning Ill come out, turn the screen on and wiggle the mouse and it moves but I can click on anything, and the taskbar won't even pop up. Mouse still moves for a bit or until I try clicking a bunch then it too locks up. ive given the computer over 10 minutes and it stays until I power down with the power button, give it a minute and poer it back up, and everything is fine.

I just cleaned it out so its not dusty. I have run lots of virus scans and had tech at work run some deep scans and safe mode scans as well with nothing being found.
Any ideas of things I can try?

Sounds like a problem coming out of sleep. Have you changed anything (like a video driver, ram, cpu, etc)?

I havent changed any recently no. I did check every item in device manager for updates and they all came back with most recent already installed.

I have not checked Windows Updates to see wen that last installed something so I will check that when I get home.
Also regarding sleep mode, as best I can tell I have that turned completely off. I have most settings in advanced power options set to never turn off other than display which is set for 60 minutes, so I dont know how much that could affect the system or if I should turn them back on.
