Severe Graphics Issue

i have since uninstalled the 'Game Booster' software and the steering wheel driver and profile software, but am still having issues

went back to server but i was locked out, very strange as i had the password. so began to practice offline, the same things started happeneing, freezing and jerky graphics.

current situation is it appears the resolution is locked at 800x600, nothing can be altered, the video card is being detected with what appears to be the correct drivers..........so now the pc wont boot into windows 7 normal, only in safe mode

if i uninstall the video card from within Device Manager, then reboot i can get into windows normally but as i said resolution is locked at 800x600 and screens are NOT recognised.......

below is a series of pics i took with digi camera during boot ups and start ups. i've tried to keep them in sequence but after uploading them they went into reverse order, so the top picture is actually the last one and vice versa

Bad video driver. where did you get it? what model video card? 64 bit?

i got the driver from the nVidia site.........260.99_desktop_win7_winvista_32bit_english_whql.exe

i had that driver already installed when everything turned to shit yesterday, but just before i was able to install the drivers off the original disc i got out of the box, but no improvement.

i installed Speccy - free version, but as i can only see things in 'safe mode' nothing is available to analyse.

i'm beginning to think it may be an operating system fault, because i can't even see to navigate in the bios, everything is totally unreadable with patterns and artifacts all over the screen.

i'm going to have a go at re-installing my motherboard drivers

1. Shut down the PC entirely.
2. Removed the graphics card
3. Re-seat (re-install) the graphics card
4. Boot the PC

made no difference at all.

have a look at the photobucket link in the 1st post, you'll see the artifacts and just make out the bios screen
