1 W7 64bit P55- Steam Fallout 3 Goty- Game/System Freeze/Lockup Fix.

*Note: It is no EVGA master list, easy to get to to download older versions of Precision or with write up saying exactly which drivers each version works with, or I missed it. You have to read through 1 thread for precision with each version and every past comment or post, all tossed in together. You have to read through 1000s of posts just to find the past versions and then read them to see what drivers they actually work with or if that info was added- it is not for all versions of precision.

From the official EVGA precision site page. It will show past versions, but no download links to them, and you can see for your self , not all versions say which drivers it works with. They make it hard for a reason maybe. Maybe so we will give up and buy new video cards maybe. They know full well, folks need the older drivers or versions and not all older video cards like or need new drivers. It is just the facts. EVGA needs to correct this, and it is not professional. Maybe it did come out better for me in the end. I did not spend hours downloading and deleting and reinstalling nv drivers all day- then game testing each time, and it still not work right. This Precision info should be more organised and easy to get to period...............

My new builds 2 total near same systems, learning w7 at the same time, My game acting funny, Thinking I have done something wrong or bad drivers. And coming from xp straight to w7 and always used older 182.06 drivers. I never used drivers in w7. I did not know what I can say is good or not, Or have any good I could fall back on. Well I can say now. The most new drivers out at the EVGA site 260.99 and precision 201 work fine for me and my older video card. Now I have a said set I can fall back on, If I ever try and upgrade drivers in the future. My system plays non steam Borderlands and all dlc's fine. And steam Bioshock and Hl2 Ep2 run fine. Only Fo3 gave me problems.

* Note: Bethesda is know for buggy games and have a great rep for poor and or do not care patching. It is fact they hold the record for the most buggy game on earth at that. Was it marrow wind, I can not remember now? But they do get high ratings, and well Fo3 is not a bad game, It is a clunky fps tho. Yes it is a rps [role playing shooter] or [combo fps rpg] game, how ever you want to word or call it. Well Biochock all Stalker games and Borderlands are all same type games in general. Fo3 by far has the worst fps parts or mechanics or gun play or player movement, what ever. It is a better rpg, and more geared around low skill players or normal rpg game players and vats. Vats takes no skill. But is useful. If Fo3 had better fps mechanics it would truly be a great game. It is naturally glitchy, but can run really well to. It more has a mind of its own maybe, or GSC and stalker are its cousin or something.

It is 10s or 100s of manual fixes folks have to do for the game right now, Beth will not patch the game. And put out another Vegas, and is buggy also. Folks should take note. Do not pay them full price. Wait and get the game' cheap- buggy junk does not make ya so mad then..
