Hi,

Actually, I have checked the HP website, but the drivers are severals years old. See for yourself, and the drivers are for XP as well, as this notebook came with XP.

Software & Driver Downloads HP Pavilion zd7060EA Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

For the NVIDIA drivers, since the only drivers available for this notebook are from 2003, I am going to use modded drivers from LaptopVideo2Go.com. But I haven't installed them yet, thats all.

Thanks,

Slasher

Hmmm, the Motorola SM56 voice modem seems to be discontinued by Motorola, I honestly have no idea what it does, but oh well. I'm moving onto updating another driver and will skip updating this driver as the Windows Update driver for this device seems to be the most updated driver out there.

EDIT- I actually found a 2010 driver for it, strange as it is discontinued. I am testing it now.

Wow! That is a good find. How did you find it and where did you find it? I hope it works for you.

Hi,
Actually, it turned out to be something from 1999, what liars, it was from a Portugese website. I am just gonna skip that driver.

I was shutting down the notebook yesterday, until I got another BSOD error, that I think is different. I attached the new minidump as a zip file. Please check it.

Thanks,

Slasher

Hi,

Do you think you could help me find a driver for the ENE PCI Memory Card Reader, as I am having a hard time finding one, and I think is the culprit as well. It doesn't even work, I can open and browse files and stuff but can't copy anything to the device as it gets corrupted, making me have to do a chkdsk on another computer.

Thanks,
Slasher

Hi,

After lots of research I finally got a 2005 driver for the ENE Card Reader. I installed it, but its still not working.

Good job on looking for a driver for the memory card reader. Unfortunately, you are not going to find a Win 7 driver for it. This card is obsolete; it is very old XP technology. You will have to uninstall the card reader using Device Manager and upgrade to a card reader certified compatibly with Win 7. Here is a link from which you can look for a card reader: Windows 7 Compatibility: Software Programs & Hardware Devices: Find Updates, Drivers, & Downloads.

For now, you can rename the driver.
Create a restore point, using Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers, locate the driver file, and rename it from .sys to .old. Reboot and the drivers will not load. This will break the card reader.

Hi,

It also didn't work properly with XP installed. Are you sure I can't make it work? As I really need it. If I wanted to disable it, couldn't I just disable it from Device Manager?
