Windows 7: BSOD During Boot

BSOD During Boot

Ever since I upgraded my system with 4GB Ram and switched to x64 Win 7, I've been randomly getting BSOD's during booting (just before the Windows logo begins forming)
I have tinkered with almost all BIOS options, but havent been able to nail the source of my problem.
Windows Recovery ALWAYS gives a BSOD.
During installation, I was getting BSOD (after the files had loaded off the DVD) I had to set my UMA Memory(Graphics Memory) to 128 MB (default is 512MB) to get it working.
But now that setting makes no difference.
Most common BSOD Stop is 0x0000007E, often I get 0X0000000A and 0x00000050
System is very stable when it boots, I've tested my CPU and RAM with stress tests like prime95 and IntelLinpack.
Another problem is that there are no Minidumps created for the BSOD I get during bootups, I have Minidumps only when my system crashed twice during normal operation (one due to Ntfs.sys and one due to BEEP.sys)

Please guide on how to proceed further.
Thanks.

PS: I've reinstalled my OS thrice with from 2 different discs but the BSOD persist

Hi Carl

I am attaching the required files
(but please note that the BSOD during boot dont create minidump in my case, as I detailed in my previous post)
Anyway, I am sure you people will look into this.

Thanks again.

PS: Happy New Year all !

And a happy New Year to you! Thanks for uploading the files. They help.

Can you boot and run in the safe mode?

I see that you have Windows Defender running. Defender does not run well with Win 7. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials. MSE supersedes Defender, offers superior protection and runs very smoothly with Win 7. MSE will turn Defender off; you don't have to any action to turn Defender off or uninstall it.

You did upload three dumps files including one from today. Two of the three blame sptd.sys. I suggest that you uninstall Alcohol 120%. It uses a driver, found in your dump, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads. Select uninstall; do NOT select reinstall.

Here is a free alternative CD virtualization program that does not use the sptd.sys driver.
Freeware MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM(MagicDisc) Overview

Outdated drivers can cause conflicts, memory corruption and BSOD's. I find one out of date driver loading on your system. Update this driver through the link provided.

Follow all of the above suggestions and see how your system does. Post back and let us know. If you get another BSOD, upload it and we will go from there.

Thanks for your effort Carl. Really appreciate it.

I carried out all the steps you mentioned (Uninstalled Alcohol , SPTD ; Installed MSE ; Updated Ethernet driver)

But while I was rebooting after removing sptd.sys, I got 4-5 BSOD during bootup. I could boot into Safe Mode without problem. 'Launch Startup Repair' also gave BSOD. The thing is, there are no minidumps created for this. Bootlogging also doesn't show any result. How do I proceed ?

You can boot in the Safe mode without a BSOD. That seems to indicate a driver problem, memory problem, or possibly a power supply problem. Try this;perform a clean boot in Windows 7: How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
