ah, anyway i think all is working fine when im on the system however booting up is an issue
i get a black screen after the loading bar of windows, and no hard drive revving sounds
so i restart, bsod comes up, restart again and all works fine (this also happened before i removed the apparent faulty ram)

This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x366E5D)
    Bugcheck code: 0x1000007E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0xFFFFF80001DB9E5D, 0xFFFFF88001F94758, 0xFFFFF88001F93FB0)
    Error: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M
    file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe

Attachment 136270 (i think driver verifier was running, ive had it on all week)

I looked at your five most recent dumps; the first four are Driver Verifier enabled dumps. Two of them blame ntkrnlmp.exe, a Windows system core file and very unlikely to be the cause, and two blame memory corruption. Your most recent dump is not a Verifier enabled dump. It also blames ntkrnlmp.exe and indicates memory corruption. You can leave Driver Verifier off.

Do you have another PSU you can try? Your short uptimes before a BSOD and the problems when booting can be caused by a failing power supply.

    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
    happening.
    Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffff80001db9e5d, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: fffff88001f94758, Exception Record Address
    Arg4: fffff88001f93fb0, Context Record Address

I got this powersupply about 6 weeks ago, because my pc wouldnt start because my old one must have blew, so i dont think it will be that

i'll try updating video drivers the reason i rolled them back was to try and fix the problems i was having with bsods, but now we know that it was kind of my faulty ram, ill update them again

We always need the actual dump file. We can get a lot of information and hints from the dump that a writeup does not yield.

It is very unlikely that dxgmms1.sys is the real cause. Usually when we see that, something else is conflicting.

I moved my stick of ram to the first slot as it was in the second (where the bad one used to be) but that hasn't made any difference, i can play games fine over 60fps and stuff, would the graphic card still work even if it was possibly failing? (also the sound loops when i bsod)

    My ram is also a
    Geil 2gb pc3-10660 CL=9-9-9-24
    motherboard is Asus m4n68t
graphic card geforce 9800 gt which i've had for about a year

    ImageShack Album - 2 images
    Heres the bsods i've had

    =Update=
    I've installed windows xp sp3,
its working fine so far, ill see if it bsods if not maybey my windows 7 isn't working because
the disk is scratched a bit when i installed it?
