    Hello,

Could you attach a full jcgriff2 report?

    https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html

I'm seeing a lot of Windows Update errors, which may tie into this issue somehow. Perhaps the greatest common denominator of the two is the network adapter. Try installing these Intel Ethernet drivers: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...=3003&lang=eng

    Hello Jonathan,

Thank you for the timely replied. I downloaded and updated the driver, and here is the files you requested. So far, I did not have a crash but will keep you updated (as it normally happens every 30 mins).

I have crashed twice since my last post. But it seems it is not as frequent.

    Try testing RAM and CPU.

    RAM - Test with Memtest86+

    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html

Also run the "Large FFTs" Prime95 test.

What is the make/model of the PSU?

Will run the tests overnight. I do not know if this helps, but my computer does not freeze when running ram consuming games. Where my cpu spikes. I will need to check the back of the tower to get you the PSU info.

I ran both of the tests, each of them reporting no errors. My PSU is a Dell 250w Model: NPS-250KB F. Looking forward to your reply :).

First, where did you get your copy of Windows 7?

Your original install date is reported as 1/13/2002, and your page file date matches. Do you know what is going on with that?

The PSU is under-par, certainly. That may very well be the cause of all this. Did you buy the PSU from Dell? If so, return it, and buy a better one. I recommend this one: Newegg.com - CORSAIR CMPSU-550VX 550W ATX12V V2.2 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply

Thanks for the prompt reply. I bought it when a friend was building the computer a few weeks ago. The bios date was set to that date and I hand't bothered changing it until recently. I have another power supply as well which is 400w. I will get the make and model when I get home tonight. Do you think 400w will be sufficient?

If you have the 400w already, use it; it's probably sufficient, though if you had to buy one, I would recommend at least a 500w.
