    Windows 7 Ultimate
    -x64
    -Full Retail
    -December 2010
    -Age of install: 1 week
    Mobo: ASUS P5N-D

I have consistent BSOD's while playing World of Warcraft with the BSOD being 0x000000d1. I was using the current 260.99 drivers from nVidia and have also tried the drivers from July of 2010. I continue to get the same BSOD. Attached is my BSOD details. Thank you for any assistance!

Hi and welcome to the forum. I looked at your three most recent dumps. They are virtually identical and blame nvlddmkm.sys, an nVidia Video driver. Before we work with your graphics, you need to eliminate in possible cause of conflict with your video card.

I find an almost guaranteed BSOD maker on your system.
    Code:
    ASACPI.sys Sun Mar 27 22:30:36 2005
The 2005 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.
Please visit this link: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support- download_item_mkt
Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit " (it's about the 8th item down).
    Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005).

Uninstall LogMeIn. Your version is obsolete and has an obsolete driver. Outdated drivers can and do cause conflicts, memory corruption and BSOD's.

You have other outdated drivers loaded on your system. Those in bold font are really obsolete. Update these drivers through the links provided. or rename them or uninstall the software they are associated with.

lmimirr.sys Tue Apr 10 18:32:45 2007 - RemotelyAnywhere Mirror Miniport Driver or LogMeIn Mirror Miniport Driver. https://secure.logmein.com/US/home.aspx. Uninstall LogMeIn

    LMIRfsDriver.sys Mon Jul 14 12:26:56 200
8 - RemotelyAnywhere Mirror Miniport Driver or LogMeIn Mirror Miniport Driver. https://secure.logmein.com/US/home.aspx. See above

nvm62x64.sys Fri Oct 17 17:01:06 2008 - nVidia Ethernet Networking Driver (nForce chipset driver). Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers.

nvstor.sys Wed May 20 02:45:37 2009 - nVidia Storage Drivers. Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers.

RaInfo.sys Fri Jan 04 13:57:14 2008 - LogMeIn/RemotelyAnywhere Kernel Information Provider. RemotelyAnywhere - Remote Access Solutions. Uninstall LogMeIn.

Take care of these drivers, reboot , and let's see how your system runs. Post back and let us know. If you get another BSOD, upload it and we will go from there.

I followed your directions and replaced the ASACPI.sys and the nforce drivers. I also removed Logmein. I am still plagued by 0x000000d1 BSODs when I am playing World of Warcraft.

I have attached the new dump files for your review. I appreciate any assistance you can provide.

I am sorry you are still having crashes. I looked at your latest three dumps; all are nearly identical. All three blame nvlddmkm.sys, a video driver. However, this driver is up to date.
Bugcheck D1, DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Usual causes: Device driver.
I still see two outdated drivers loaded on your system in your most recent dump.
LMIRfsDriver.sys Mon Jul 14 12:26:56 2008 - RemotelyAnywhere Mirror Miniport Driver or LogMeIn Mirror Miniport Driver. https://secure.logmein.com/US/home.aspx. Uninstall LogMeIn

RaInfo.sys Fri Jan 04 13:57:14 2008 - LogMeIn/RemotelyAnywhere Kernel Information Provider. RemotelyAnywhere - Remote Access Solutions. Uninstall LogMeIn.
You said you have uninstalled LogMeIn. Look for Remotely Anywhere and uninstall it. If you cannot find it, using Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers, locate the two driver files, and rename them from .sys to .old. Reboot and the drivers will not load. This will break the program these drivers are associated with. Reboot and see if this helps. The rest of your drivers appear up to date.

If you get another BSOD after deleting Remotely Anywhere or renaming the two drivers, upload it to us and enable Driver Verifier. Closely follow the instructions in this tutorial:
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable. Driver Verifier will trigger BSOD's when it encounters faulty drivers. Upload any and all Driver Verifier enabled dumps. Use your computer normally while Verifier is running.

I did not see those two Logmein drivers in the system32 folder so they must have finally been removed. I enabled the Driver Verifier by following your instructions. I am attaching the latest BSOD information. I got a different BSOD at first upon rebooting with the driver verifier activated. But then this morning, another 0x000000d1 error.

Again, I really appreciate the assistance in getting to the bottom of my driver issues!

Should I just abandon this video card and try another nvidia or would it be better to switch to an ATI card?

I appreciate any further guidance on my last dump files.

The first BSOD is error code A, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. This dump blames CI.dll, which is a Windows system file and very unlikely to be the real cause. The second dump, error code D1, blames nvlddmkm.sys. You can turn off driver verifier if you have not done so already. I no longer see the LogMeIn drivers loaded on your system. Good work.

I suggest that you test your video card with Furmark following the instructions in this tutorial: Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark. Post back with the results. Be sure to monitor the temps of your GFX card while testing.

If you get no artifacts or distortions and if your temps do not exceed nVidia's recommended max temp, your video card is probably OK. Furmark is not 100%. Then you should test your RAM.

Follow the instructions in this tutorial and test your RAM with Memtest.
RAM - Test with Memtest86+. Run Memtest from a cold boot after your computer has been off for a while. Let it run for a minimum of seven passes. This will take 6-8 hours. Post back with your results.

I made some adjustments to the way the fan operates on my video card with EVGA Precsion. I ran the Furmark application and do not see any video distortions and I level off around 75 Celsius.

I also went into my BIOS and manually set the RAM timing based on what the vendor stated it was. I ran Memtest for about 8 hours with no reports issues.

Yet from within Windows, the PC kept crashing. I set the RAM back to auto in the BIOS since it was only making it worse.

I've attached the last dumps with the hope that it will point to something new to try. I'm at the stage now where I might just go out and buy an ATI card since it appears my Nvidia chipset motherboard doesn't like Nvidia video cards...

    Thank you for any assistance!

Be sure to turn Driver Verifier off. Both of your latest dumps are Driver Verifier enabled dumps. One blames Pool Corruption (memory issue) and the most recent blames HDAudBus.sys and indicates memory corruption. HDAudBus.sys - Microsoft High Definition Audio Bus Driver, not likely the real cause of the crash. However, you might download this driver from Microsoft and reinstall it on the off chance it is corrupted.

Try testing your CPU and RAM with Prime95. Closely read and follow the instructions in the tutorial: https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html. Run 3 separate tests, one on each of the settings (Blend, Small FFTs, Large FFTs). Post back with your results.

    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
    happening.
    Arguments:
