Driver update programs are the worst possible way to attempt to update the drivers on your system!! They are problematic at best and pure snake oil at worst... The surest way to be sure that you have the latest available drivers to to go to the manufactures site for the device you wish to update, and get the latest drivers from there!!

Thanks for your answer Yowanvista!!

I had these daily BSOD before I installed the Driver Genius utility. I installed it to "solve" my problem.

There is no file with the name "gdrv.sys" in my C:\Windows\System32\Drivers folder.

I found it in the C:\Windows folder. Is it still ok to rename it??

The USB devices are: my Microsoft 2000 Comfort keyboard, my Logitech Wireless mouse receiver and my Canon Printer.

Yes rename it, concerning your mouse can you use another standard mouse just to test if that Logitech mouse is the cause

Yes i will test another mouse.

My problem seems very weird to me. Every day different driver BSOD (gdrv.sys, tcpip.sys, usbport.sys).

Is it logical?? It seems like it's not the drivers problem but something else that "needs" or "calls" the drivers...

In addition is it logical that this happens only once a day????

Driver verifier seems to be enabled, disable it
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

gdrv.sys is still the cause, I'll Suggest to delete this faulting driver

Code:
010611-10639-01.dmp 06/01/2011 12:22:42 DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION 0x000000c4 00000000`000000f6 00000000`000000d4 fffffa80`087e7250 fffff880`04790809 gdrv.sys gdrv.sys+1809

Thanks again for your answer Yowanvista.

I have the driver verifier enabled in order to track the problem. I was advised to enable it for one week by another forum member.

I deleted the file gdrv.sys.old.

No BSOD today after deleting gdrv.sys. Lets hope this driver was the reason for the mess.
