Unfortunately I got another BSOD today at start-up.

I installed Microsoft Security Essentials a couple of days ago.

I didn't see a file name of a driver (like gdrv.sys) in the Blue Screen.

I am attaching the dump files.

Does anybody have any idea which driver is blamed for this BSOD?

Uninstall your Graphic drivers with Driver Sweepr, then download and install the latest version from ATIs' website...

    Code:

Thanks a lot for your answer Tews. I really appreciate your interest.

I uninstalled the old driver and downloaded the latest version from ATI website.

Now i have to wait until tomorrow to see if I get BSOD at first start.

Good job troubleshooting Guys, Tews and yowanvista. : )

    @r0mph, I received your pm:

    Hello cybercore,

can you have a look at my problem please?

BSOD Every Day only at First PC Start!!!

I would appreciate it very much

    Best regards

Hope the problem is fixed now. If another bsod with the same error pops up blaming atikmdag.sys, then blame the Cataslyst 10.12 which is a preview version and which has been reported to crash both 5 and 6000 cards (http://forums.amd.com/game/messagevi...hreadid=143930).

I suggest you use an earlier whql version until the final release of Catalyst 11 WHQL:

    1. Uninstall the Catalyst
    2. Clean up with the driver sweeper
    3. Install Catalyst WHQL 10.3 - 10.11, but not 10.12

Thanks a lot for your answer Cybercore.

I uninstalled Catalyst 10.12 and installed 10.11. Waiting for the next day start up, hoping that I won't get BSOD.

I would like to hear any idea about the fact that I am getting BSOD only at first PC start of the day.

It sounds really crazy to me...

Thank you all for your precious help again

My problem was not solved despite all the efforts...

I decided to take my PC to the service department of the shop that i bought the parts.

Guess what???My MOBO was faulty and they will replace it....More specific they said about scratches on the circuits or something. I guess faulty mobo explains the fact that completely different drivers were blamed for the crashes.

Thanks again for your help and interest Reventon, Yowanvista, Tews and Cybercore.
