Hello Soluicious, Welcome to sevenforums!

Check device manager to make sure its installed correctly.

Go to Desktop Right Click my computer
Then click manage.
In the left pane under System tools click device manager
Then Expand (double click)on DVD/CD Rom Drives

Check for any yellow marks and if its even in there

Once complete Post back let me know what you have found.
