Okay F8 is working now, not loading any drivers to go onto Safe Mode, just redirecting me to Startup Repair again.

Is this a known-good Repair CD that has worked before? Can you burn another using Windows Image Burner or ImgBurn at 4x speed to be sure?

If you cannot get the Repair CD to open a Command Line or recognize an installation, try burning to CD free Partition Wizard bootable CD, make sure the 100mb System Reserved partition or Win7 partition itself are marked Active by righclick>Modify>Set to Active, OK, Apply. Click Explore on Win7 partition to see if your files are intact. Then run Rebuild MBR from Disk tab.

Will the Toshiba factory Recovery run from boot following the steps posted? There may be an option to copy out your files. If not, see if you can copy out your files using the method I posted to access and copy files from Load Drivers mini-explorer on the screen where Repair CD searches for installation.

Is this the Partition Wizard bootable CD?

Which partition is marked Active? It should be the System partition, or Win7.

If you rightclick on the Win7 partition, can you choose Explore and browse to your files?

Did you try Rebuild MBR from Disk tab?

Your hard drive is failing or has failed. Download a diagnostic disk for your hard drive manufacturer (from their website) to test it. You'll probably need to pull out the drive to determine the manufacturer (usually two screws and very easy to do). Burn the diag disc on another computer and boot the bad machine on it. It will tell you if the drive has failed.
