BSOD Twice in 2 days Please Help!

Windows Home Premium OEM came pre-installed
Acer Aspire X3910
Pentium R dual core cpu, ES 5700 @3.00 ghz 3.00ghz
4 gig ram
64 bit operating

Both times I was burning a disk with ImgBurn

Yesterday the bsod minidump said crash was Unable to verify timestamp for iaStor.sys. I checked the drivers and Intel website. My
Intel Matrix Storage Manager is the latest.

Today, there the system health report said it was the mouse driver, but that's the latest too.

Is it the ImgBurn or something more sinister.....?

If bsods persist:

1. Uninstall AVG AVG - Download tools

2. Install MSE https://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

3. Uninstall MyWinLocker. Later install the latest version - or use True Crypt as a great replacement.

Thanks for your help--Here's what I didn't realize

Thanks to everyone who helped me...
This is a brand new OS for me. I've been very happy with XP but my old computer needing replacing.

You were right about the Intel Matrix Storage driver and sent me to the right place to find the update....however, the name changed to Intel Rapid Storage driver....

I kept on looking for Intel Matrix and everything I found told me that my driver was the latest...it was for Intel Matrix...

Eventually I realized that I was looking for the wrong one. I needed to be looking for "Intel Rapid"...not "Intel Matrix".

I think I'm okay now; at least no BSOD for two days straight!

so Thanks!
