    Consider BIOS upgrade

Microsoft is unable to determine the exact cause of this error. However, this problem was most likely caused by an error in your computer’s random access memory (RAM). RAM is the main internal storage area the computer uses to run programs and store data.
During the crash analysis, we noticed the basic input/output system (BIOS) version on this computer does not match the specifications for the central processing unit (CPU), also known as a processor, that is installed on your computer. This can occur when a newer processor is installed on an older system board or older BIOS. Using a BIOS that does not support the installed processor can result in Windows system crashes. Contact your computer manufacturer or motherboard manufacturer for an updated version of BIOS for your computer's processor.

Please find the error details of the unexpected shutdown

I will take a look; but please read this tutorial, follow the instructions and upload all of the files. This helps us help you better, especially when there is only one dump to go on.

    https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html

Your dump is bugcheck 1A, Memory Management, and blames memory corruption as the cause. Since no direct cause is give, you will have to troubleshoot.

Begin by completely uninstall AVG using this removal tool:
Tool (32bit). If you have Identity Protection installed, remove it with this tool: Tool. AVG is known cause of BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials in it place.

If you are running a third party firewall, uninstall it also and make sure Windows Firewall is turned on.

Reboot and see how your system runs without AVG. Post back and let us know. Upload the rest of the files to us and upload any new dumps. Your drivers all appear to be up to date.

    Hi Carltr6,

I have attached the dump files as per your instructions . Please let me know what is the problem in my system and how to resolve it. I have removed AVG and installed Microsoft essentials also but in health report it was showing anti virus program not installed.

    Please help me on this.

Hi, vinwin. I looked at both of your dumps. Both point to a hardware or hardware related problem. Both involve memory corruption.
    Bugcheck 1, APC_INDEX_MISMATCH. BSOD Index.

Bugcheck 8E, Usual causes: Insufficient disk space, Device driver, Video card, BIOS, Breakpoint in startup without having a debugger attached, Hardware incompatibility, Faulty system service, 3rd party remote control, Memory.
I find two obsolete drivers loaded on your system. One is extremely obsolete. Outdated drivers can and do cause memory corruption and BSOD's. Update or eliminate these two drivers.
PS2.sys Mon Jun 04 09:59:59 2001 - HP Multimedia Keyboard Driver. HP® - Laptops, Desktops, Printers, Servers and more. If there is no update for this driver, you need to upgrade your keyboard and uninstall this driver.

SCDEmu.SYS Mon Aug 06 20:15:06 2007 - PowerISO Virtual Drive driver. PowerISO - Create, Edit, Extract, Mount, Compress, Encrypt, Split ISO file, ISO/BIN converter, Virtual Drive, DAA. Update this driver or uninstall Power ISO.
I also suggest that while you are troubleshooting, you uninstall PCBoost. One you get your system stable, you can try it again. I really do not recommend this type of software with Win 7.

Update or eliminate the two drivers and uninstall PCBoost. Reboot and run your system. If you get another BSOD, upload it. Then test your RAM following the instructions in this tutorial: RAM - Test with Memtest86+. Run Memtest froma cold boot after your computer has been off for an hour or two. Let it run for a minumum of 7 passes. This will take 6-8 hours. Post back with your results.

    APC_INDEX_MISMATCH (1)
This is a kernel internal error. The most common reason to see this
bugcheck is when a filesystem or a driver has a mismatched number of
calls to disable and re-enable APCs. The key data item is the
Thread->KernelApcDisable field. A negative value indicates that a driver
has disabled APC calls without re-enabling them. A positive value indicates
that the reverse is true. This check is made on exit from a system call.
    Arguments:
Arg1: 82ab8b64, address of system function (system call)
    Arg2: 000000ff, Thread->ApcStateIndex << 8 | Previous ApcStateIndex

    KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000008e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
    happening.
    Arguments:
Arg1: c0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 82c95619, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: b97d7bac, Trap Frame

Thanks for your reply. I Have uninstalled the PC boost and Power ISO, and for the key board driver i roll back the previous driver it shows Driver date - 6/21/2006 and version - 6.1.7600.16385.

Now i will restart and see the performance and let you know whether i need to do the memory test. but i already did the memory test with same software you have mentioned it. I have passed 6 tests there was no error message.

Good work. However that 2006 keyboard driver is still way obsolete. It is an XP driver. Does HP have an updated driver for this keyboard? Third party drivers for Win 7 should be dated 13 July 2009 or later.
