BSOD 2 Me 1

Hello again mates, its been a few days since my last post, and reading the "how-to" upload the Post Instructions, this is it.

Again, my pc aspects:
- Mobo : Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H
- RAM : 8gb Adata XPG (4x2GB) 1333MHz .
- Video: Gigabyte Ati HD 5850 1Gb
- Power : Cooler Master GX 750w.
- Age of system and OS 7 : 1 month new pc.
- Full Retail Sells.

I was just downloading a game via steam, and searching stuffs at firefox, then all gone blue., let me mentionate that the problem with my Graphic Card was solved., i just installed the drivers that came with the Box., even i was playing in HD with the Eye Infinity Setup and there was no problems. About memory, i have done the test with memmtest (12 hrs about-5 phases, no erros) and with the built-in windows memory test. Well, im uploading the zip file. As you can see theres a past dump files, i dont know how to erase them, just to send the last one of them.

Additional i use the Virtual Clone Driver(few times), and VMWARe WorkStation ( alot).

Thanks Again.

Hi, William. Sorry you are having problems. I looked at your three most recent dumps; two of them are Driver Verifier enabled dumps. Please make sure you have Driver Verifier turned off. One of the Verifier enabled dumps points to ntkrnlmp.exe. This is a Windows system core file and very unlikely to be the real cause of the crash. It just happened to get blamed.

The other Verifier enabled dump blames vmx86.sys, a VMware kernel driver. I suggest that you download Revo Uninstaller (free) and use it to completely uninstall your VMware software. After you get your system stable, you can install the latest version. I see from Google that others have had problems with this driver.

Turn off Driver Verifier and uninstall your VMware (temporarily). Reboot and see how your system runs. Post back and let us know. If you get another BSOD, upload it and we will go from there.

Hey, thank you mate for quick answer.
And yes, about the Verifier i turned on, to test the system, you know.
About a Week its no running -> the verifier.

That´s why i mention about i couldn't erase the last dump files just to send the "last" one (Sun Jan 16 13:56:16) for been more accuracy.

Ill do it. I'm heading to Uninstall the Vmware. And if something happen, ill be here again.
As you messaged "I see from Google that others have had problems with this driver." yes you are right. Bout well., when i turn off Verifier and no more blue screens came out i think all was right. *wait for an Vmware Stable*- OK.

Just a comment - question: if the case of the problem is Vmware, i never tought that it could make an error even without runing, imean., its in back-ground process or something?, thats why maybe the system is crashing? u got the point?., damn, i tought the Software´s Company do that because, they want to been fast in their proccess or something., like that "bonjooour" of apple`s ipood service. Bout the thing is, that they are annoying the S.O., and make it so slow. Each time you install a program it must be with-in., tech info, like "- hey i going to install all this bunch of binary code on this and this folder, and this ones too in here, and if the code runs cool, u are ready to go, if not, check this folder, open with this, do this, do that." I know its like a Dream World, bout, damn,. some times the last thing people want is "read". Maybe that´s the main thing about Plug-and-Play (lol).

Cool mate., thanks.

A program does not have to running to cause a conflict or a problem. The drivers for VMWare load into memory during bootup. They are there whether or not you run the program. And Driver Verifier found it to be a faulty driver. I see from Google that some folks simply reinstalled it and it ran fine. For others, this seems not to have worked. Some software have poorly coded drivers and these cause conflicts.

Thank you for the update. Good luck. I hope your problems are over.

William, I am sorry you had another crash.
Quote:
BugCheck 3B, SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. Usual causes: System service, Device driver, graphics driver, ?memory.
I see one out of date third party driver loaded on your system and it usually is not a problem driver. I suggest that you enable Driver Verifier carefully following the instructions in this tutorial: Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable. Verifier will trigger BSOD's if it finds faulty drivers. Upload any and Verifier enabled dumps. Hopefully the dumps will point to the offending drivers.
