Windows 7 Premium 64 Bit

Thanks for the analysis - I installed the drivers you suggested and will let you know how it goes. On this note, do you recommend the Intel driver update utility or some other method to keep these up to date?

Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit

You are certainly welcome for the analysis. I hope your next update is good news.

I recommend the Intel driver utility. That way you are sure to get the most up to date drivers.

7 days in the clear then - bang - problems back

Well, after 7 days of stability I thought I was in the clear but I've just got 4 crashes in the last 4-5 days. After this last boot, windows action center said:

Consider sending additional information
ATI display driver has stopped working properly.

At this time, we don't know the exact cause of this problem. Hewlett-Packard is interested in gathering additional feedback.

Please visit the Hewlett-Packard website to provide information about the problem:

Like I've said, I'm pretty sure this is not a display driver problem (I get the same errors with the other, stock graphics card and I always keep my driver up to date). The new .dmp files are attached. On the BSOD that I witnessed yesterday, the error code ended in x00024.

Also, I'm getting messages from Microsoft saying that I'm not running a genuine copy of Windows now (despite the fact that when I installed windows on the new SSD I authenticated it with the product key that came with this new computer). I suspect file corruption - windows seems to be downloading updates more frequently but that hasn't fixed it yet.

windows problem fixed, but...

I reinstalled Windows 7 to fix the issue with the Microsoft messages. Computer has been stable for 4 days of operations, but I doubt the problem is fixed since I didn't change any hardware configurations. Any idea on what the cause was based on those latest crash dumps from the previous post?

Motherboard DC jack removal/desoldering misery
So my laptop has been playing up for a while now after my cat jumped on it and it fell onto the plugged in charger tip. I would charge but only when the charger was held a certain way/wiggled into the port. The plastic in the DC jack was cracked so I ordered a new one and got a soldering iron. ...

So it seems misery loves company...(BSOD)
I built my own pc for the first time at the end of August because I went to Best Buy, felt like I was getting shafted, and reluctantly built my own. It worked great for two weeks and has since been not worth the price of all its parts melted down. I have seriously had at least 70-80 BSOD, maybe...

A Multitude of Misery (As Well)
So I posted here a while back, talking about how explorer crashes upon login. Well, I reformatted and did a clean install of Win 7. However, explorer is still crashing upon login. And the only way to fix it is by logging out, or restarting and canceling the logout or restart. It seems like it's...
