    BSOD help

I need help on this issue as I've gone as far as I can to resolve it. The system is one year old. Dual Xeon 5500, 12GB Ram on a Tyan S7025 Main Board, Win 7 Ultra (64 bit), Promise RAID Card TX 8660 configured with 2 arrays. The system was running well without errors until I went from 4 GB of memory to 12 GB. There was a problem with one of the memory sockets and the board was returned to the manufacturer for repair. It was returned and I reinstalled the OS. The hardware is all functional but I got two errors which I attribute to the BSOD.

First was a CAP12 Event 513 error which I haven' gotten in a couple of days
Cryptographic Services failed while processing the OnIdentity() call in the System Writer Object.
    Details:
AddWin32ServiceFiles: Unable to back up image of service Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service since QueryServiceConfig API failed.

Second was Application Popup Event 1060 which a lot of people seem to be having problems with:
\SystemRoot\SysWow64\Drivers\FileDisk.SYS has been blocked from loading due to incompatibility with this system.

I've included the mini-core dump and perfmon files with this message. Any help on this would be appreciated. I can't find where this is called from. Thanks!

Forgot to mention that there are only two programs installed on the system at present: MS Office Professional 2010, Iolo System Mechanic Professional V. 10

There are no BSOD dumps in the report you uploaded. Make sure you have the correct settings enabled to write minidumps Set MiniDump

Please uninstall Iolo System Mechanic Professional V. 1. The driver FileDisk.sys is for that program. See if the problem goes away after uninstalling.

You also need to update your computer to SP1 - How to update to SP1

First, I've got to thank you for a very quick and accurate reply. Sorry I am so long in getting back. Removing Iolo solved the FileDisk error. I had to reinstall as there was no antivirus that would work with that I could see. I chose a very minimal reinstall so that the error wouldn't return and it didn't. You couldn't see the crashes but they were the apps hang. Keyboard/mouse were frozen and there was no response from the computer for so long that I forced a restart before the core dump. I left the machine on last night. No CPU load. As you can see from the files attached there is still a problem. This time a timer/hardware issue. 3 crashes with 8 errors on the WHEA-logger.

Hoping you can get me through this one. Thanks again for your reply. Too many issues, so little time!

Your three dumps are hardware related (most likely CPU). Please run these tests and report back the results

    1. Memtest86 - Run for 7-8 passes - RAM - Test with Memtest86+
    2. Prime95 - Run all three tests for 3-4 hours each or until error - https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html

Thanks again for your help. The Memtest86+ reports an I7 CPU and only three memory sticks. There are 2 Xeon E5520's and 6 slots filled. However I did run Windows Memory diagnostics which locked up on me at 31% even when left running for 12 hours. CPU test ran for 6 hours on Primes without problems however when I ran the Torture test it locked up almost immediately.

On POST BIOS Quick Boot is disabled sometimes it runs a full memory check sometimes it doesn't. I am suspecting the Main Board.

This Main Board has been into TYAN, Shenzhen, China 3 times, once to repair a damaged CPU socket. It was sent back only to find that the repair had damaged a Memory Socket, It was returned a 3rd time because the memory socket repair had damaged the PCI Bus. I am returning it to the dealer, who has been most helpful and is not to blame, and requesting a new main board. After which I will run tests again just to be sure.

Is there another memory test program that will address both CPU's and all six banks of memory?

I want to thank you again for your time and effort in this matter. I've learned more about the guts of this system than all the experience I've had since I started in 82. Also thanks for not treating me like I just started! Very intelligent answers.
