    Need some Help ASAP guys

    Hey Everyone,

I have been searching and searching for answers and cant find them. Here are the problems I am having.

-Win Explorer stops responding, has to be restarted via ctrl+alt+del
-Programs wont open when icon is clicked on from start menu
-It seems like Windows 7 doesnt want to recognize the drivers that were installed and working fine before to run printers, etc.
    - Performed a System Restore, Startup repair that worked at first but then when I went to restart the computer it got hung up at the 'shutting down..." window forever.

If anyone can shed light on this situation for me I would be very appreciative, this is on my work computer

Let me know if you need any more info

    Thanks again

    1. Run "sfc /scannow" in a command window as administrator
    2. Run "chkdsk /r" in a command window as administrator
    3. Download Memtest86+, burn to a CD, and run it a good 8-12 hours.

    Report back.

sfc/scannow finished saying that there is a corrupted file and that it couldn't be repaired and to check the Log, but I can't make anything of the log. Any information from that log you need?

Edit: In Device Manager IMPI interface and PCI Serial Port have the yellow triangle and arrow and say that the drivers for these devices are not installed (code 28) Action Center also keeps telling me to dl and install the driver for Intel Active Management Technology because it is missing a driver, but that doesnt seem to get me anywhere

Ran Memtest86+ for hours and hours, no errors found

Go ahead and attach the log. I'll take a look at it.

So I got frustrated, backed everything up, and did a clean install of Windows 7 and still having problems. I need a quick way to get this fixed, it's really killing my day, even if I have to spend some $, replace the HD or something
