I'l try the housefan trick but uhh thats not realy a solution, but you mean for exclusion purposes ? like if it works with gaming without bsods or reboots we know the prob ?

I'l give it a try tomorrow.

    * Doesn't seem to have much effect on temps actually, how the hell can my mobo get soo hot?, btw my ati side feels ultra hot aswell, could it be givin heat to the mobo ?

If the fan decreases the frequency of the BSOD's - then we know it's an overheating problem. Then it's just a matter of figuring out which component(s) are being affected (and cooling them).

    Update 15: Permalink
changed realtime update (bottom of my first post)

Moved the ati down somewhat so that my soundcard is above it instead of under it against the fan blocking it. Temps have gone down allot.

Sounds like you may have a solution.
Have you considered mounting an 80/90 mm fan so that it blows over the cards?

    2. Moved my ATI card all the way down (as far as it could anyway) and i placed my Creative Soundcard 2 slots above the ati instead of just under it blocking the fan. My current temps are:
    System: 38c
    CPU: 42c
    GPU: 48c
Never been so cool haha the soundcard blocking the fan realy stopped the heat from getting away and it made the mobo warmer too (or it was like ontop of the sensor or something). Have to check if stability is up though.
Have you read the manual to find the DEFAULT slot for using 1 card. also most mobo's have setting or plugs or manual switches to turn of the other Video cards. My mobo manufacture sent a dummy/dud so if i only want 1 SLI Video card it does simply bypasses and thinks I only have one PCI-E slot.

I would guess its slot 1 (in which it was at first) its now in slot 3 and i haven't had ANY bsod's yet so i guess either the voltage or the PCI slot swap worked (did them both practicly at the same time before i tested it with gaming). Ive completed a few campaigns of left 4 dead wasn't able todo that before so. If i run into any trouble i'l post back.. but untill then consider my problem fixed :)

Update 16 (Final one, i hope)

PS: I should still ask asus on the mobo temp going upto 50 though but googling around its a common phenomenon on my mobo.

Back to gaming wohoooo SkyMarshall Arts - Forever Gamer (Listen to song)
