    BSOD during normal use.


    hi guys. im on win 7 ultimate x64 installed on a vertex2 120gb ssd about half a month ago. everything was smooth, suddenly while the computer is in idle, i got a BSOD just now, i followed the guide here; https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html. everything is done except for perfmon /report a popup came out saying "An error occured while attempting to generate the report. The interface is unknown."attached are the rest of the files generated by the *.exe from the above guide. thanks.

    There are no .dmp files in your attachment.

    Go to your C:\Windows\Minidump folder.

    Copy the .dmp files to a folder on your desktop.

    Zip that folder up and attach it to your post.

    The most straight forward way to understand the problem is to post what the BSOD tells you, there will be an error message, eg; IRQ_NOT_LESS_than_or_EQUAL_TO. Also at the bottom of the BSOD there will be an error number. Post these when you can.

    hi guys. update; there is no such directory in my windows folder. when i first installed this ssd, i remember doing some windows tweaking for ssd optimization. i *think* i did something about turning off error-reporting and such. so now i cant find any *dmp files on my system anywhere.

    hi guys, update. please close this thread as it is solved, BSOD caused by overclocking issues. am opening a new thread with the proper dmp files attached for an issue i had yesterday. thanks.
