    Just reformated but still BSOD


    i have juz bought my Dell Xps 1645 for 3 month, it always crashed, so i decided to reformat it. i just reformat 3 day ago. But, it still crash (BSOD). First time at juz now. Can help me to figure out what is the problem...?

    window 7 ultimate
    -64bit
    -before is original but will crash, now install with other window
    -age = around 3 months
    -age of OS = less than 3 day

    This was caused by your USBPORT.sys either the driver is bad and should be re-installed, or the external hub has a problem. How many un-powered USB devices do you have?

    when crashing, there are one mouse and one 2.5 hard disk plugged.
    and at that time i am only browsing with Firefox.

    The USBPORT is taking too long to respond and the system crashes can you try booting without it just to test?

    Many people are having issues with Catalyst 10.12. See this thread.
    It might be advisable to download and revert to one of the Previous Catalyst Versions. Download and install Driver Sweeper. Boot to safe mode and run Driver Sweeper to uninstall present Catalyst drivers. Install the "new" Catalyst drivers.

    Catalyst 11.1 is released next week(??) sometime.

    You may want to wait for that. Of course that will probably mean no games for a few days!!
