    This isn't a put-on is it?

You have only 479MB of RAM? How can windows 7 run on that little memory? The minimum RAM requirements for Windows 7 is 1GB of memory.

"Always Charging" you say? Sounds like the battery is dying, try running the Laptop without the battery, only leave the power lead connected and see if it does it.

Actually I have heard of Windows 7 to install on 512MB, but it really really really recommends at least 1GB for 32-Bit.

I almost gasped for air when I saw that screen shot.

Usually OS shuts down as well when the Processor gets too hot so it will shut down as a safety precaution. Might be a dirty fan, needs new heatsink, paste.. whatever.

Also, your ram might be going too.. but usually it doesn't shut down, windows will just crash. *lol*

LOL. No, I thought maybe you just upgraded from XP to 7. If it is just shutting down it is likely a heat issue or your battery. Does it feel hot? Did it recently have a fall or anything (that could damage the coolling system).
