    Machine_check_exception (9c)

    Properly posting my previous thread.
I turned on my computer this morning. Opened a pdf I had created the night before, opened a firefox window. Then my mouse stopped moving. Within a couple seconds this changed to a BSoD.

I am running Windows 7 Professional x64 since 1 month after purchase.
The computer came from HP with Windows Vista x64 installed on it.
I Ordered the computer from HP (OEM).
The system was ordered in July of 2009 making the system roughly 1.5 years old.
In July of 2010 I did a CLEAN ALL in Microsoft Diskpart and gave it a fresh install of
Windows 7 Professional x64 making the OS install 0.5 years old.

    Thanks for your help!

    Renko Hi and welcome

    several problems

    1-sptd.sys a huge BSOD cause.
Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads

You can use MagicDisc as an alternative.

2-Your avast remove and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials

3-Old drivers Update at least these
    Code:
    hamachi.sys 2/19/2009 5:36:41 0x499d3639 fffff880`0487d000 fffff880`04888000 0x0000b000
    iaStorV.sys 4/8/2009 11:57:17 0x49dcd76d fffff880`01488000 fffff880`015a6000 0x0011e000
    iaStor.sys 6/4/2009 20:53:40 0x4a287aa4 fffff880`01259000 fffff880`01375000 0x0011c000
    e1y62x64.sys 6/12/2009 20:16:42 0x4a32fdfa fffff880`04800000 fffff880`04849000 0x00049000
    How To Find Drivers:
    - search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
    - - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
    - - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

4-This crash is a fairly uncomman one. Usually only happens with BIOS, or cpu problems. I would update the BIOS, but ONLY after you have a full backup, the OS, dvd, etc
