Autochk Error Win7 boots, errors, BSODs
Hi,
I purchased a new ssd and was resizing partitions (back up partitions first) and moving them around using gparted , reboot a was greeted by an error causing windows to not boot at all. Booted off of the repair cd. It said it found a problem I told it to fix it and reboot. Windows now loaded but after the Starting Windows animation i get "Autochk program not found - skipping autocheck" and then a BSOD saying:
STOP: c000021a (Fatal System Error)
The Session Manager Initialization system process terminated unexpectedly with a
status of 0xc0000003a (0x00000000 0x00000000)
The system has been shutdown.
So this is what I tried after googling a little bit.
-Windows startup repair ran 3+ times in row
-Checked with GParted the partition is not marked as hidden
-Chkdsk didn't find anything
-Sfc won't run say that "there is a system repair pending which requires a reboot to complete. Restart windows and run sfc again." (tried still won't run)
-I verified that autochk existed
-ran every option of bootrec
-I enable boot logging the log is attached
-Safemode won't boot--give me the same error and bsods
More information about my system
-I use avg antivirus
-Nothing from norton has ever been installed
Does anyone have any suggestions? Like I said I have all my files backup, but do not want to have to do a complete reinstall unless absolutely necessary.
Thank You for all your help in advance,
Trcx
