Select Safe Mode with networking like I just said.

Is there a way to turn off memory dump process so that a system failure wouldn't result in the computer shutting down? Stupid question I know.

A memory dump process is required - it will give us to analyze and see what it causing for BSOD.

You got a minidump file now.

Try this in Safe Mode with Networking, just on the off chance. In the Run... window (or a command prompt?) type verifier /reset and press OK. Just in case its "on".

Download TDSSKiller and run in it Safe Mode.

    Worth a try.
