new to this forum, so be gentle.
Built my 1st PC and was going pretty well, but havinga few problems at the mo.
Unable to recover to any decent restore point so had to do a clean installer, which took forever!!
Now got it back to some kind of working order but still have probs.
Did run a thorough chkdsk which did find a few bad sectors.
Help and advice would be much appriecated,

    System as follows

    Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
    upgraded from vista
Back to using Windows secuirty (after removing Norton)
    Asus Extreme Maximus MB
    Intel QX9650
    6GB OCZ Raeper OCZ3RPR1866
Crossfire ATI Radeon X1950 (due to upgrade soon recommendation please!)
    1.5 tb WD Caviar green
    Creative X-fi titanium sound card

Have deleted suspect software where poss to eliminate probs but still having some shortcuts, links hanging about which I cant delete.

No minidumps included in upload try this method

If you wish to have others assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder. The procedure:

    * Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
    * Zip up the copy.
    * Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
    * Briefly describe the problem history and circumstances in the same post. Somebody will attend to your query as soon as possible.
