    Alright. I went ahead and reformatted the drive and reinstalled Windows. So far, all looks back to normal. Probably wasn't a hardware problem, but just in case, I removed the modem. I don't use it anyway. On a final note, should I be updating my drivers or is that unnecessary for certain parts?

    If you reinstalled Windows - then the problem should go away. If not, upload the dumps.
    No need to update drivers if the problem is gone.
