    BSOD: Can't Reinstall Windows?

    Hey guys,

I know this is frustrating but I'm very nearly computer illiterate. I just learn as I go. Recently I got a virus on my Dell XPS M1530 computer while running Windows 7 professional 32 bit OS. I removed the virus with malware bytes antivirus software. A few days later I went to go update my iTunes, and when I restarted my computer to finish the installation, I started receiving BSOD, and I have no idea what they mean. I think maybe corrupt memory might be the cause, but I really have no idea; and honestly its beside the point.

I want to reinstall windows 7 and delete my hard drive. Here's the kicker: I can't. I have booted the system from the disc, deleted my primary hard drive, and tried to install the OS again, only to get an error message that says that there are files missing that I need to install. What do I do? I can't perform system restore, as I have no restore points. I don't have an image to restore to. I upgraded my system from Windows Vista, and apparently I can't restore to factory settings now, and honestly I am completely at a loss.

    Help!
    Thanks
