User Profile Service Failed the Login.

Hello, Everytime I try to login to an account, I get a message saying User Profile Service Failed the Login. I know this is a common problem and there are many answers on the internet, but none seem to apply here. Every article mentions going through a number of folders till you reach ProfileList in Registry Editor. Then your are to change file extensions, etc. Problem is the user doesn't even show up in Registry Editor. I still have access to my administrator account (this account shows up in the Registry Editor, but it's the only one), but any new account I make, including actviating the guest account, seems to suffer from this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Ja212,

If the options in the tutorial below did not help, then you might also try the suggestions in the yellow TIP box at the top of the tutorial as well to see if they may.

The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded. - Vista Forums

    Hope this helps,
