Windows 7 BSOD - Every day or 2 - win32k

Is Windows 7 . . .
- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x86
- the original installed OS on the system? Nope, Windows XP was
- an OEM or full retail version? Full Retail

- What is the age of system (hardware)? About 4 years
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) Maybe 4 months

Hello

I've finally become sick of all the BSOD's I am getting (one every day or two at random times), so I decided to post here. If any one could help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jack

Hello,

It seems this is most likely caused by a hardware problem. Specifically, I am most suspicious of a CPU or RAM problem.

Start by running Memetest86 for several passes; running it overnight is a good idea. See this guide: RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Also, run the Prime95 Blend and Small FFTs tests; see here: https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html
