this file does not have a program associated with it for performing t

im getting this error message everytime i try open a file location on any of my partitions on my hard drive, or if i right-click and Explore... although it works if i right-click and Open.

i believe its a registry problem.

any suggestions?

Try restoring the default file association for it: Default File Type Associations - Restore

do you know what the file extention name for going through ur files.

take it that one will set all file extensions back to default?

That one will set the Folder associations back to default. If you want to restore a different one, download the appropriate file and run it: Default File Type Associations - Restore
