Massive BSOD problem

I recently built a new computer system in early March with a Windows XP OS. It worked perfectly for about a month and then began giving the BSOD regularly, at least once a day. I initially assumed that this might be a problem with my newer hardware not being compatible with XP so I upgraded to the Windows 7 64-bit RC. It again worked extremely well for awhile before it started to get stuck in a continuous startup repair loop. I received advice on another forum that the problem might be with my power supply so I replaced my Rosewill 500W with a Corsair 750W about a week and a half ago. The computer has been working flawlessly until early this morning when it started giving me consistent BSODs even in Safe Mode. I ran a disk check which found no problems and then performed a system restore which didn't fix the problem. The BSOD error messages also seem to be different every time. At first it was IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR EQUAL and then it followed up with various ones including BAD_POOL_HEADER and PAGE_FAULT_IN_A_NONPAGED_AREA. With the exception of critical Windows updates I made no recent changes to my system before this started happening. Anybody have any idea as to what the problem may be?

I'm attempting to load the dump files but it says I need to be an administrator to gain access despite the fact that I'm logged in as one.

You can try logging in as the real Administrator account. but you'll need to enable it first using Computer Management -> Local Users, or the net user administrator /active:yes command.

I tried the command and it said "System Error 5 has occurred. Access is denied". I'm going to go get a new external hard drive to back up my files so I may be unresponsive for an hour.

It's because you must run that command from an elevated command prompt. See the tutorials section for further info.

I second that, bad hardware. Go download memtest and a hard drive diagnostic utility from the HD's manufacturer. I bet it is 1 of the 2.

Thank you everyone for the information and help. I'm currently trying to find a CD-R to burn memtest onto. I'm assuming I want 86+ since I have a 64-bit system.

Oh and LordBob75 I LOVE Windows 7. Despite the problems I've had, there's been enough times where it works for me to explore it and I have to say it's pretty much amazing.
