    Help stop the Window 7 64bit BSOD's (0XA, 0X50, 0X3B) and Freezes (Fir

    Good day,

I am a new time computer enthusiast so I decided to build my own. So over the past week or so I've been trying everything under the sun that I can think of to get a stable system. Without freezes and crashes. At my wits ends and need some pro help. Please don't flood my with tech jargon for I am just learning it all. Thanks.

This is the hardware list for my system
    Mother Board: ASUS P75H57D-V Evo
    CPU: Intel i5 760
    RAM: [ Ripjaws ] F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL
    GPU: Radeon HD 6870
SSD: Crucial RealSSD C300 64GB (OS and main programs)
    HDD: 1TB Western Digital {New} & 1TB Seagate {old} (For storage)
    Running Windows 7 64Bit

So this is what I have done.
Reinstalled windows many times different ways trying to get a good install. Finally settled on SATA II and IDE for the SSD to get the install proper. After the install and all the programs loaded and internet reading, tried moving the DVD-Rom to the SATA II port #6 and the HDD to ports 2-4 and switching the SSD back to a SATA III port #2, while going from IDE to AHCI. Of all thing my computer will now go back to sleep without crashing or hanging. Haven't been able to do that since the firmware update of the SSD to 0006. Kind of excited about that. Maybe the SATA III port #1 kind of broken.

To make sure it be not hardware related I have run different stress tests on the components and none of them have failed or at least the programs haven't been able to return an error messages.

So the big problem is that over the past 6 days my computer has logged 26 Blue Screens. Without counting 20-22 of them have the stop code of 0XA. Found out it could be related to a memory leak issue and got a hot fix for it but that was around Blue Screen #3 of the 20 so maybe not the memory leak they were saying? The other 4-6 Blue screens are a mixture of 0x50's and 0X3B's. I'm running out of things to try and attempt to get a stable system any suggestions?

Also on a related but unrelated side note does Windows 7 64bit have an issue with Firefox for every now and again it causes the system to hang and needed a hard restart?

    Thanks for the help everyone

P.S. Registration was fun... but buggy, the no spam question was what was Bill Gates first name. I put William and it told me I was wrong! I would like to point out that the system is WRONG! Bill is the short for William. At least the next one was less ambiguous what colour is grass well what kind of grass is it, is it healthy?

SO another problem to add to the list. Windows just Blue Screened on me with an error code of F4, no dump file was created and then it changed my boot order. Had to go into the BIOS to fix it (to boot back into windows).

Now that is just messed up.

Again thanks for the future help everyone.

    Hi Syde and Welcome.

    STOP 0x00000050: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
    Usual causes:
Defective hardware (particularly memory - but not just RAM), Faulty system service, Antivirus, Device driver, NTFS corruption, BIOS

Your latest dump file lists ntkrnlmp.exe as the probable cause. This is a Windows System file and for it to be the cause of your crash is highly unlikely.
Old and incompatible drivers can and do cause issues with Windows 7, often giving false error codes.

    As a Priority:

AVG is known to be a cause of BSOD's on Windows 7 systems. Suggest that you uninstall it. Download the correct AVG Remover for your system (32 or 64 bit).
If you have AVG ID protection installed, download the AVGID Protection Remover from the above link as well (it wouldn't hurt to download and run it anyway). Download Microsoft Security Essentials as its replacement. Re-boot to Safe Mode. In Safe Mode run the AVG Removal tools. Re-boot to normal mode and install MSE. Make sure your Windows firewall is enabled!

...does Windows 7 64bit have an issue with Firefox for every now and again it causes the system to hang and needed a hard restart
The only issues I've ever had with FF and my 64bit system is with every new release (FF) it's getting marginally slower. 3.6.6 was the fastest release I've used, but never any crashes.

Let us know how it goes. If you get further problems with blue screens, attach your new dump files and details and we'll move on from there.

    Good day,

Thanks for your help so far fimble.

Here is an update. Got rid of AVG like you said and got Microsoft Security Essentials installed instead. After I got AVG uninstalled and before I could get to installing Microsoft Security Essentials my system game me another Bluescreeen. (Dump File Attached)

I then went though and updated the USB driver from the motherboard manufacture website. Got that installed, and then I put on Z103.5 though the internet so I could take care of other things and horary for another Bluescreen! (Dump File Attached)

Then I got the updated driver for my wireless card, and the Realtech HD audio drivers. I was unable to get the other Realtech driver because their website was acting hinky so I will try tomorrow or something like that, as for the ElbyCDIO filter drivers I have no idea what is going on with that one and their website is not easy to navigate so I didn't pick it up. As for the new Intel Rapid Storage I find that the new version doesn't run as smoothly on my system as the current version I have so I'm hesitant about updating it. The updates didn't seem to fix a whole lot for horary for another Bluescreen (Dump File Attached) At least the error code was different 0XA1 maybe a step in the right direction?

This instability is starting to blow my mind! Any other hints or suggestions on what might be causing it are more than welcome.
