Windows 7: BSOD when trying to play

18 Feb 2011   #1

Windows 7 Home Basic 32Bits
BSOD at MMO login page

I tried to play Ragnarok Online today, the official Brazilian version. But, at the login page, it always do one of the two: or it disables my keyboard when I try to type my login and password, forcing me to turn off the notebook; or, more often, it shows a BSoD.

If there is any information I should have written but didn't, please tell me.

Driver from 2003 (hwinterface driver by logix4u) might have something to do with it.

Plus your npkcrypt.sys (nProtect KeyCrypt Driver.) which caused the most recent crashes.

I would replace both

How To Find Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

The processor's IRQL is not what it should be at this time. This is
usually caused by a lower level routine changing IRQL for some period
and not restoring IRQL at the end of that period (eg acquires spinlock
but doesn't release it).

Windows 7 Home Basic 32Bits

First of all, thanks Zigzag for answering. Unfortunately, I don't understand much about computers, so I'm having a few problems with the instructions. I replaced the npkcrypt.sys as suggested but when I went to the to get another version of hwinterface, they only have one for 32Bits and it is from 2002. Is it correct, this is the one I have to get?
