Multi BSOD Win 7 home premium 64bit
Hi,
I bought my sony vaio vpcf136fm about a month ago and it was running normally until it started BSODing with the stop 0x000000BE mentioning the iastor.sys file during the initialization. Eventually I could start it in safe mode with command prompt, but it didn't last enough to save the dmp files. Sometimes the BSOD used to come with the stop 0x0000008E, 0x0000007E or 0x0000001E, most of them mentioning the iastor.sys file.
So I tried to re-install the OS from the recovery hidden partition, and now I'm stuck because it is BSODing during the first restart of the windows installation, and when I try to restart my PC, it says there was an error with the windows installation and I should re-install it, and when I try it, I get the same error, so I'm in a loop and I can't even get far enough to see the dmp files or update any drivers.
I ran the windows memory check and it was OK, and I also ran the Sony Vaio Care software from the recovery partition to check HD and CPU, and they were also OK.
Since I bought this PC in the US and I live in Brazil, it is not supported by the warranty here, and I may have to ship it to the US to get it resolved, which will cost a lot of money and will take a lot of time, so any help on how to handle with this will be greatly appreciated!
