BSOD help please

    ok i uninstalled catalyst and installed newer version by the instructions but now the screen doesnt change the brightness and the windows experience index doesn´t work either. and i cant rename the hssdlv.sys it says something about need permission from system.

    The easiest way around that is to add the Take Ownership Shortcut to your context menu.

    Thank you for reporting back. I am glad to hear your system is running better.

    Fimble is spot on about renaming the files. Using Windows Explorer, do a search of your C: drive for each of those drivers. Rename each instance of them from .sys to .old. Reboot and they will not load.
