BSOD Report

Hello, and thanks in advance for any help someone can offer to me.

To answer the basic system information questions:
- I'm running Windows 7 x64.
- It's an upgrade copy, so I'm fairly sure it was installed on top of Vista (can't really remember, to be honest)
- Full retail upgrade version, not OEM
- Hardware age is variable. Mobo/RAM/video card/PSU are around 6 months old and are the newest parts.
- Honestly can't remember when I installed the OS. Sometime last year.

After doing what I could to analyze the dump files from my BSODs and learning what I could from Google searches, it seems to suggest it's a driver issue. I tried upgrading every driver I could think of, and I uninstalled or disabled all devices I know that I don't use. I also did a pass of Memtest86+ just to check, and it came back with no errors.

I am at a total loss as to what to do now, and the BSODs seem to be getting more frequent.

Hello,
Start off by updating this 2005 ASACPI.sys driver:
Code:
fffff880`14996000 fffff880`1499e000 ASACPI ASACPI.sys Mon Mar 28 15:30:36 2005 (42476C4C)
Note   Note
The 2005 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.
Please visit this link: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support- download_item_mkt
Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit " (it's about the 12th item down).
Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005).

Remove ALL Tages Software - it is a known cause of BSOD with Windows 7.

Try update this driver,
Code:
fffff880`011b9000 fffff880`011c1000 AtiPcie AtiPcie.sys Wed May 06 03:00:22 2009 (4A005486)

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an

caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.

I cannot, for the life of me, manage to update that ATI PCIe driver. Even if I specifically tell AMD that I want to upgrade the south bridge drivers, all it does is run its idiotic Catalyst Installation Manager, which doesn't actually do anything. Drives me nuts.

As for the hardware side of it, I actually already have the case panel removed, because I'm paranoid about overheating. No overclocking. Ran a single pass of Memtest, as I mentioned. Maybe I should do a few more passes. Just scheduled Windows to run a checkdisk on next reboot.

Seems like the only changes I've made out of all this is that ATK driver and uninstalled the Tages thing (I wonder what game put that on my system?). Here's hoping one of those two drivers was causing the problem. Doing a clean format and reinstall of Windows will be a gigantic pain in the ass.

Run at least 7 passes for Memtest, 1 pass is worth nothing. I don't recommend that you do a clean-install, it is a hardware problem and not Windows.

I'll try and make this concise: BSODs occur even while desktop is not in use. Memory_Management and PFN_LIST_CORRUPT is what I remember seeing. Also: IE9, IE10 and IE11 all "stop working" randomly. Chrome - ditto. FF32 - ditto. I've run Memtest86 (10 passes) no errors. The last BSOD was...
