BSOD only on cold boot, 100% fine after warm reset

I've been having problems with my rig and the only piece I haven't replaced is my processor. I have literally replaced every piece of hardware. And am maybe coming to the conclusion that it is a compatibility problem with my Intel i7-920 and my Asus rampage iii gene mobo.

I've updated BIOS, drivers, everything I can think of that is software related.

I've attached some dumps and a few other files to help troubleshoot.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    thx,
    Trev

Dumps indicate BC 101 which is mainly caused by a defective CPU

Run Prime 95 again to test your CPU and your ram. Carefully the instructions in this tutorial:
CPU - Stress Test with Prime95. Run 3 separate tests, one on each of the settings (Blend, Small FFTs, Large FFTs). Post back with your results.

    Code:
    BugCheck 101, {19, 0, fffff880009b2180, 4}

I will download and run the test and post back with the results. It seems wierd to me why it would work 100% fine for days on end after an immediate reboot from a cold boot start.

What should I be looking for in these tests? I am running the blend one right now, 8 windows open saying they are running through tests, no errors from what I can see after only 30 minutes though.

The newer dumps blame Mo3Fltr.sys which is part of Asus PCProbe.
Uninstall it and please stop any overclocking and reset all options in the BIOS to Auto/Default values

    Code:

2/9 bugcheck 124, WHEA Uncorrectable Error. Usual causes: Hardware, Incompatibility, May be driver corruption.

2/19 bugcheck 101, CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT. Usual causes: Device driver, BIOS bug, hardware defect.

2/19 bugcheck 1E, KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. Usual causes: Device driver, hardware, System service, compatibility, Remote control programs, memory, BIOS.
The above are the three dumps you uploaded. In addition to the links that Yowan gave you on the 101 error, here is some reading on the 124 error.
A "stop 0x124" is fundamentally different to many other types of bluescreens because it stems from a hardware complaint. Stop 0x124 minidumps contain very little practical information, and it is therefore necessary to approach the problem as a case of hardware in an unknown state of distress. You can read more on this error and what to try here...

[2-Int] Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try

    1. You have an almost guaranteed BSOD maker on your system
    Code:
    ASACPI.sys Sun Mar 27 22:30:36 2005
The 2005 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.
Please visit this link: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support- download_item_mkt
Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit " (it's about the 8th item down).
    Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASAC
PI.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005)
    2. Follow Yowan's advice and uninstall Asus PCProbe.

    3. Uninstall LogMeIn. The driver is outdated.
    RaInfo.sys Fri Jan 04 13:57:14 2008 - LogMeIn/RemotelyAnywhere Kernel Information Provider. RemotelyAnywhere - Remote Access Solutions.
Follow these suggestion, reboot and see if your system is more stable.

    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (1e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
    Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000000, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 0000000000000000, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: 0000000000000000, Parameter 0 of the exception
    Arg4: 0000000000000000, Parameter 1 of the exception

Thank you so much for the detailed replies, it is very much appreciated, its glad to see people with the passion you guys have.

I tried the things you guys suggested, the ATK0110 setup failed with an error of 'model not supported', but it did however update the ASACPI.sys file to one from 2009.

I have not overclocked anything at all, and am currently running the BIOS defaults.

As far as the Asus PCProbe, add/remove programs doesn't list this program at all anymore. Any suggestions for removing it?

I won't be able to test more until I can leave the machine off for a period of time, as the problem only ever persists from a cold boot. Machine works solid after any warm boot.

You are very welcome for the help.

Updating that driver was the main objective. That should help your system's stability.

We won't worry about it unless it shows up in another BSOD. It may be gone from your computer.

Let's see what happens the next time you do a cold boot.

Well as I was typing a thread saying my problem was fixed, I immediately got a system lockup (no bluescreen, just a lockup which required a reset).

I have once again posted the minidump.

    Thx,
    Trev

Sorry to hear this and, unfortunately, your bugcheck is 124, WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR, a fatal hardware error. There is a link in my post above regarding this error.

    1. I suggest that you install SP1 and see if this helps your system: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...ice-pack-1-sp1

    2. With all of the problems you are having,
    here is what I recommend:
The next step is to check compatibility using this link: Windows 7 Compatibility: Software Programs & Hardware Devices: Find Updates, Drivers, & Downloads

If everything (and I do mean EVERYTHING) is listed as compatible, then the next most likely thing is broken hardware. To test for that, you'll have to run as many diagnostics as you can get your hands on - and that may still not be enough. Then, you'll have to check for hardware issues using the suggestions at this post: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic70216.html.
