On one of your old dumps, the dumps blames 0x116 error.

Man this is brutal.

I've updated all the NVIDIA graphics drivers multiple times, but it isn't easy as it requires a reboot in the middle, and since i have to boot into safe mode, it doesn't resume the installation automatically. As for the info in that thread, I have my ASUS 9800GT removed right now and am booting with the iGPU...

Just got all the latest bios and chipset drivers downloaded, and will flash the updates tonight. Will see how that goes.

Gonna reload the OS as well, hoping that whatever is causing the problem isn't in the base OS package.

0x116 usually occurs with faulty video card not the driver.

My video card is completely removed. I removed it after the first batch of BSODs, along with all other extaneous hardware (extra HD, extra RAM).

Reformatted HD and installed a fresh load of W7 tonight...seems to be running fine now. Guess that means the failure was caused by a 3rd party app somehow?
