Random freezing

Hello, first off I would like to inform you that this was typed on an IPod Touch so I apologize if the words seem weird. Anyways, the big problem I'm having is like the subject states, my computer keeps randomly freezing. I start up my laptop on safe mode and it runs fine. But when I try and run it normally it will last for about 1-10 minutes before it freezes. It's an Asus G73Jh so the system specs are pretty much capable of handling anything I can throw at it. I tried to do a system restore but it was turned off so I have no saved points. I have run anti-virus scans and they have turned up nothing. So, if anyone at all can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.

I apologize for this being so long gut I didn't want to leave anything out.. But if I did just ask away. Thank you!!

*Update

I have a guest account on this computer and it runs just fine. I hope this helps.

If the guest account is fine but your normal one is not there is something broken in your normal profile.

I would create a new (normal) account and transfer the settings. You can then delete the profile (user account) that is giving you grief.

I suspect it may be an app you installed (just for your user --Not for all users) that has a corrupt driver.

Another problem

Thank you for the help, I ran almost every bit of cleaning that I could think of and it finally worked.

I have another problem now. When I start my pc and login on any acc my comp crashes and I get the BSoD. I usually have about a minute to 5 minute window before it blue screens. But it also just crashes before I sign in. It seems to do it abou 5 to 10 minutes after I press the power button. If you need any information from the BSoD tell me what part to post. I have never had this problem before so I'm kInda stuck here.

Thank you for the help!!

Well, I decided to hook up my old pc. What I want to try and do is download the WIN7 recovery system repair disc from these forums onto a disc and then try and run them on my laptop.

My laptop keeps giving me the BSoD with the error code DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Do you think using this could solve my problem?
